lost all credibility

This book lost all credibility when it listed Murphy's Law as "A body in motion will stay in motion. A body at rest will stay at rest (paraphrased)". Sorry that is Newton's First Law of physics. Murphy's Law is "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong". If the writer doesn't know that and/or can't be bothered to fact check, I'm not interested in the rest of the book. Glad it was free. I immediately stopped reading and deleted it.

This book does not really offer new strategies. It tries to motivate but lacks convincing information that are more recent (as the title suggests). It is still worth reading if you're starting out to read weight loss books.

I absolutely needed weight loss motivation!

Finding this book was very timely for me since Ive been trying to "get back on the wagon" after making a decision to lose weight with the start of the new year. For some reason, I just couldnt seem to get myself to do the things I needed to make that happen. I definately had many excuses. Actually, the author talks about a client she has been working with that has a motivation issue- she knows she has to lose the weight, she wants to lose the weight, but she just doesnt do it. I feel like she was talking about me. After reading this guide I am now approaching weight loss in a different way. Since utilizing some of the strategies the author shares, I now have the mindset to stay motivated on my weight loss journey. In fact, it has been almost a week now that I have been going strong on my weight loss program and I feel confident to continue.
I definately recommend this book. It is a great foundation to all weight loss programs.
